Train Service Performance at Huyton
On these pages I aim to provide a snap-shot of how the quality of the train service is holding up under the stresses of electrification work, and in future hopefully to see how much better (or not) the new electric service is.
To this end I am monitoring all trains calling at Huyton station, and counting cancellations and late trains.

Notes
- The figures are derived from information of Network Rail Infrastructure Limited licensed under this licence and also from the public live departure board systems.
- Trains cancelled by planned engineering works or industrial action are not counted as a cancellation. (As long as they are removed from the timetable.)
- From 1st January 2022, trains cancelled via the VSTP (Very Short Term Planning) process are counted as a cancellation.
- Rail replacement buses are not counted, since running information is not available.
- Trains running within two minutes of correct time are deemed to be on time. I also show trains within five minutes, the railway's standard.
