Engineering Work At Warrington Bank Quay

Engineering is taking place in the Warrington Bank Quay area closing some lines from 11:00 Saturday and all day Sunday.

Arriva Trains Wales trains are diverted between Manchester Piccadilly and Chester and will run non stop. Buses will run between Manchester Piccadilly and Chester via Newton-le-Willows calling at all stations.

On Saturday Northern Rail trains between Liverpool Lime Street and Warrington Bank Quay are replaced by buses between Earlstown and Warrington Bank Quay. These buses are extended to run to / from Newton-le-Willows. Trains between Chester / Ellesmere Port and Warrington Bank Quay are replaced by buses throughout.

Virgin Trains are diverted between Crewe and Wigan North Western and will not call at Warrington Bank Quay but will call additionally at Manchester Piccadilly. Buses will run between Crewe and Wigan North Western. [198]
