Engineering Works Detail

Line Closed Between Chorley and Leyland

The line between Chorley and Leyland will be closed to allow tunnel work at Chorley, bridge rebuilding, and the re-instatement of the Grade II listed 'Chorley Flying Arches'.

First TransPennine Express services will be diverted between Bolton and Preston and will not call at Horwich Parkway, Chorley, and Buckshaw Parkway.

Northern Rail services are replaced by buses between Bolton and Preston on Saturdays and Sundays, and between Chorley and Preston on weekdays. [237]
