Engineering work between Walkden / Hindley and Southport / Kirkby
Manchester Victoria - Wigan Wallgate (via Bolton) services will run between Manchester Victoria and Bolton.
Manchester Victoria - Kirkby / Southport (via Atherton) services will run between Manchester Victoria and Hindley.
Manchester Airport - Southport services will run between Manchester Victoria and Wigan North Western.
Buses will run between Manchester Victoria - Wigan / Kirkby / Southport. [44]

Timetable alterations for engineering works are published in two different ways: Some appear as Future Engineering Works on the National Rail web site, while others, especially changes for longer periods, are simply incorporated into the published timetables.
